The Trotsky Review

.
Reel Review: This movie was released on May 5th 2010. It was released by Tribeca Films. It has a cast of many great members. Although the rating isn’t available it is a comedy. The director and the producers are hoping it goes over well at the theaters and the box offices
What’s Inside: Leon is not an ordinary high school kid. For one thing, none of the other students in his class claim to be the reincarnation of the sorviet red army hero. Leon Trotsky. When his dad sends him to public schools as punishment for starting a hunger strike; Leon quickly lends new meaning to the term, student union. He truly believes he has been reincarnated and now he is a soviet leader and gets many different people to follow his endeavors. At one point he inspires his peers to do things they normally wouldn’t do however can he make them not care about anything they do? Or feel that it is the wrong thing to do? He is somewhat of a con in the aspect that he can get them to do just about anything he asks of them.

Not to mention he tries to convince a beautiful young teenager that she was his wife in another life and was reincarnated too. Trotsky is one of those teens that truly believes in what he is doing, that he is right, and no one can tell him otherwise.

Wrapping it up: While every thing Leon seems to do is make things worse in reality but better in his minds eye, things only get worse. And that if this girl decides she was his wife no one will be charged with statutory rape. There is a movie trailer for this film and it shows scenes from different portions of the Trotsky movie. However it does not show the ending. There are also still images that you can view as well.
