Rachel Uchitel: ‘David Boreanaz Is Not Part Of My Life’

Days after “Bones” star David Boreanaz came forward to admit he has been unfaithful to his wife, Jaime Bergman — Rachel Uchitel, a woman with reported ties to the actor, has through her lawyer released a statement claiming she has no current connection to the star.

“David Boreanaz is not part of my life, nor will he be. I am not in communication with him and do not wish to be,” Rachel said in a statement provided by her attorney, Gloria Allred, to Access Hollywood.

Boreanaz had previously told People that a woman, whom he would not name, contacted his attorney, Marty Singer, and asked for money. She allegedly also said, according to the actor, that she would reach out to the press.

“I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with,” Boreanaz told People, previously. “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.”

On Tuesday, Allred released a statement confirming she represented a woman who had a relationship with Boreanaz. In her statement, however, Allred insisted the woman she represented with the Boreanaz connection was not Uchitel.

Uchitel had been named, back in October 2009, by both Star magazine and PerezHilton.com, as reportedly having been involved romantically with Boreanaz.

On Thursday, Uchitel tried to distance herself from assumptions that she is the woman at the center of what Boreanaz called “some sort of extortion.”

“I have made no claims against him and do not plan to assert any. Any statements to the contrary are false and I hope that this statement will finally end any speculation about this issue. I am looking forward to a life that is not filled with scandal, rumor, innuendo or false statements about me. I will not have any further comment regarding David Boreanaz,” Uchitel’s statement concluded.
