Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds going to adopt an African child

Following previous adoption rumblings, a recent report tells that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are planning on becoming adoptive parents.

The cute couple are said to be looking for a child to adopt from Africa, as an insider tells Star magazine, "Scarlett has always wanted to adopt from outside the U.S. She feels now is finally the right time.”

Scarlett and Ryan, who married in 2008, are told to be working with a U.S. based adoption agency in finding the perfect fit for their family.

With the twosome narrowing down their search to Ghana and Ethiopia, the Star source adds, “It’s an exciting time for them!”

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner: Ready to Wed?

Making for quite the fast-paced romance, Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have quickly gone from a rumored couple to full-fledge lovers.

Pairing up after the "Sk8er Boi" singer's divorce from Deryck Whibley, the twosome have been inseparable as they continue to spend time clubbing and taking romantic trips to tropical locales around the globe.
And now, reports from OK! tell that Brody and Avril have taken the next step in their relationship by getting engaged.

Still unconfirmed, OK!'s source tells, "Avril put a group of 15 friends on notice that she & Brody want to tie the knot on Vegas in August or September."

Lady GaGa Defends Her Baseball Cheering Methods

Causing quite the scene, Lady GaGa was the talk of the town after showing up in her unmentionables at Citi Field in New York City on Thursday (June 10).

The "Alejandro" singer was joined by a group of friends for the New York Mets game, during which she emphatically flipped off photogs while situated in a box seat.
Criticized for her actions, GaGa has since responded via Twitter, as she wrote, "A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I'd die for my fans."

The 24-year-old added, "I guess I'm just a Bronx cheer kind of girl."

Meanwhile, the Mets have apologized to box seat owner Jerry Seinfeld - who was tied to the story after Mets staffers moved GaGa to his seats.

The organization told, “We deeply regret that Jerry Seinfeld has been associated with this matter and have apologized to him. The use of Jerry Seinfeld’s suite was unauthorized and unknown to him at the time. We made a quick decision to place Lady Gaga and her group in a private suite because of issues related to her visit.”

Flown into town earlier in the day, Kim Kardashian smiled for the cameras while she dipped her feet into the ocean in Miami on Friday afternoon (June 11).

The 29-year-old sported a black bikini with a beach cover as she soaked up the rays while in town for a pal's bachelorette party.

In related news, Kim recently shot down rumors that she's been hired to replace Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in "Tomb Raider".

There are a couple interesting tidbits from the interview Megan Fox gives in the latest issue of Interview.

For starters, she talks to fellow actor Zach Galifanakis in it. For another thing... she cradles a naked mannequin, while donning a black bob, for an unusual photo spread in the magazine. See for yourself:

Fox actually comes across as more mature and grounded than usual in the feature. Asked about her comparison of director Michael Bay to Hitler, she admitted:

“In the past, I’ve been reluctant to share any bits of truth about myself or to really let people in on my reality. So I have said some things to throw people off the scent of what’s really going on in my life. So I have sort of aided the media in printing these misconceptions, which I regret.”

The actress, of course, has been replaced in Transformers 3 by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But many critics believe this will help Megan's career if she uses the opportunity to branch off and take on more layered roles.

She'll next appear in this summer's Jonah Hex.

Robert Pattinson Teases "Totally Hardcore" Breaking Dawn, Edward/Bella Sex Scenes

It's official: Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies.

But what will those movies be like? In a new interview with a French magazine, Robert Pattinson jokes about making them "totally hardcore" and "having to ban [the film] for people under 16.”

Don't worry, folks, he's kidding.

But the actor, seen above and below on the set of Water for Elephants, is serious about how much sexier this final installment of the Twilight Saga is when compared to the first three.

After all - SPOILER ALRERT!!! - Edward and Bella cross a major line in the book. Says Pattinson:

“It’s going to be interesting. The story goes in directions so different and I’m curious what it will turn out like... We get married, sleep together... All the tension from the three previous films is resolved in Breaking Dawn.

"I love Zac Efron, but what’s he selling? He’s gorgeous, he’s hot, I don’t go see his movie because I’m like, ‘He’s such a fantastic actor.’ He’s a great actor, but he’s hot.

"He’s just not in a leotard with his legs out. He has his shirt off. So what’s the difference? In High School Musical, he’s in basketball shorts and his cutoff tank top and all the girls are dying... It just isn’t as obvious when guys do it."

Yes, Miley Cyrus just said there's a double standard because she gets flak for wearing skimpy outfits on stage, while no one says anything negative about Zac Efron wearing a basketball jersey in a movie.

Miley then continued to make absolutely no sense, while simultaneously praising her own work ethic: "For girls, it’s always going to be harder. That’s not an excuse, it just means we have to work harder.”

WTF is she talking about? She has to work harder... for what? To be taken seriously as an artist? This is a crazy idea, but perhaps she should simply wear normal clothing, not simulate same-sex kisses and let her music speak for itself if she's concerned about her reputation.

Katherine Heigl is hot. This has not changed.

She says she's legally separating from her husband, but is Heidi Montag really just putting us on and crashing with Cougar Zank, Spencer Pratt's good friend?

More importantly, is Cougar Zank his real name? If so, that's hilarious!

According to Radar Online, Heidi is currently staying at the Malibu home of this strangely-named individual, a former Marine-turned-bodyguard and bit actor.

He befriended Pratt earlier this year, lived in the house rented by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt in Pacific Palisades, Calif., and was even seen on The Hills.

“He is helping me write a script,” Spencer told Life & Style recently.

So what's Heidi (allegedly) doing staying with this dude right now?

It's safe to say that Danielle Staub is taking a different approach to the release of her sex tape than Kendra Wilkinson.

While the latter is faking tears and making excuses for the existence of Kendra Exposed, the Real Housewife of New Jersey doesn't seem too bothered by Huster's plans to unleash Danielle Staub Raw onto the world on June 14.

Bravo is asking viewers to go back in time.

See, Bethenny Frankel is already married. Moreover, she's already given birth to a daughter. But that isn't stopping Bravo from thinking viewers will have an interest in watching how this all came aboard, as Bethenny Getting Married premieres tonight.

Sadly, the network is probably correct.

So, what will this spin-off be about? Frankel tells E! News one thing for certain: it will NOT feature any Real Housewives of New York City:

"It's not my life anymore. It's not a cliché when I say I don't believe in staying at a party too long... This is a time I really want people who are good for me, good for my family. I want clean energy and everyone to be happy."

Cameras will actually follow Bethenny into therapy, something she says was her idea.

"I need therapy [but normally] I don't have time to go. To be able to have therapy once a week [for the show], I run there. I don't even notice the cameras. It's a true depiction of my life, [and] I've learned a lot."

Wait - what?!? Bethenny needs psychiatric help... but doesn't have time to go unless it's for a show... and this is a true depiction of her life?!? That might be the least logical statement we've ever heard (and we've listened to Tila Tequila speak!).

In closing, Bethenny wants everyone to understand her better and says:

"I could have a C-section and not be on any pain medication, but if you give me too small a portion at the ice cream store I have a nervous breakdown. That's the kind of person I am."

For an actress like Katrina Kaif getting her tongue round chaste Hindi words in the long political speech in the latest release Raajneeti wasn’t a cakewalk. With her progressively thinning though yet-not-gone anglicised accent, the actress unwittingly ended up garbling some of the Hindi words during her dubbing.

Once such word was ‘Satta’, which means politics. After the film’s post production was over, Katrina discovered to her horror that she had mistakenly pronounced the word ‘satta’ as ‘satya’ (truth) in one of her speeches.

Instead of resting and relaxing, Katrina decided to use the free time to redub her dialogues in Raajneeti. Though Jha was already satisfied with her dubbing, Katrina insisting on improvising and correcting the mistake, even if it meant footing the bill of redubbing from her own pocket.

Lindsay Lohan has gone to great lengths to deny the press its coveted money shot - the troubled actress donning the court-mandated SCRAM ankle bracelet.

The rest of her body, though? No such qualms.

Over the weekend, Lohan was seen doing a beachy cavewoman photo shoot in Malibu wearing nothing but lingerie and boots and clutching a bow and arrow.

Nudity not a big deal anymore in Bollywood

With the recent ripples created over Bipasha’s nudity in an advertisement and Sherlyn Chopra’s nude pictures on twitter, the question that arises is that is nudity the next ‘in’ thing?

The fact remains that while the Indian society does not accept the concept of nudity yet actresses don’t seem to care much these days. The recent nude pictures of Sherlyn set a rage amongst the masses and became the news flash of the week but the fact remains that nudity has been there in Indian films since quite some time now. Earlier it was not highlighted too much and accepted if the movie demanded it. Acceptance of nudity seems to be the favourite subject of the media these days.

It is not the first time that an Indian actress has shed clothes on the screen. The journey had already started with Indira Verma and Sarita Choudhary in Kama Sutra, Simi Garewal in Mera Naam Joker, Mandakini in Raam Teri Ganga Maili, Zeenat Aman in Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Seema Biswas in Bandit Queen.

The most ironic part seems to be that earlier when the society was told to be conservative, nudity was not really made an issue and now when the society seems to be open, nudity has become news! Strange but true!

Anna Paquin on Bisexual Announcement: D'uh!

In an April PSA, Anna Paquin came out as a bisexual.

The True Blood cast member has since received a lot of praise from gay rights organizations and the LGBT community. But Paquin recently said that she doesn't even see the big deal. It was her responsibility as a human being to speak out.

"I'm not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason, but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about - and frankly, I don't see why everyone doesn't care about them," the actress told Zap2it, adding:

"So when I was asked to participate in that PSA, it was just an obvious, 'Well, of course I will.'"

Paquin, who is engaged to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, continued:

"It wasn't like it was a big secret. It was just a cause I cared about and privately supported, but not one that I had ever had an opportunity to speak out about in a way that would be useful. Obviously I know that one person's voice doesn't necessarily do that much, but I just wanted to do my bit."

You gotta admire that, don't you? The star doesn't see herself as any kind of revolutionary. She simply wonders: How can any person with a heart sit idly by while the rights of others are infringed upon?

In her first public appearance since the Jesse James cheating scandal and the double divorce and adoption bombshells that followed, Sandra Bullock was in good spirits.

And certainly worthy of being called the Troops' Choice.

Returning to the spotlight Saturday, she made a surprise visit to the Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards to accept the "Troops Choice" Award for Entertainer of the Year.

Presenter Robert Downey, Jr., awarded her the honor, bestowed by members of the military, and the star received a standing ovation from the Los Angeles audience.

Speidi Breakup Hoax: The Smoking Gun?

Before the "shocking" breakup of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, was there a plan in the works to stage the split as an elaborate, long-con bid for attention?

People have suspected the split is a giant sham from the start, but a new piece of the puzzle has emerged that may reveal it's all part of a new reality show.

That piece is a $5.5 million Malibu pad where Heidi and Jen Bunney say they moved in to for a summer of girl time and so Heidi could get away from Spencer.

It seemed believable enough, given the recent erratic behavior that led to Heidi and Spencer's breakup, and that it was never announced by the plastic pair.

However, the lease for the place was signed days before Heidi's rep confirmed the split, with neither Heidi Montag, Jen Bunney or Spencer Pratt's name on it.

PULLING A FAST ONE: Is Spencer and Heidi's breakup as fake as whatever you'd call those things spilling out of Heidi's clothes?

The lease is only three months long with an option to re-new for six months or a year ... just long enough for the summer! Funny how that worked out, right?

It's all a little too convenient if you ask us.

A cynical mind might even say the thing reeks of a setup, with the couple in cahoots with Jen Bunney as well as enterprising reality show producers throughout.

All of this begs the question: Did someone know a split was coming, and who? If it was sudden, why would someone else sign a lease for them ahead of time?

Makes you wonder if the whole breakup is ...

Brooke Mueller: Alive, Well, On the Red Carpet

While Charlie Sheen prepares for jail, his wife is stepping back into the spotlight.

Brooke Mueller walked the red carpet last night at the ninth annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. It was her first public appearance since Sheen allegedly held a knife to her throat on Christmas Day a few months ago.

The reason for her outing this weekend?

“My best friend Rebecca Gayheart and I have been a part of this charity for several years and it’s a great cause," she said.

Mueller added that her twin sons are doing "great" and that she has no summer plans.

Except to hopefully do everything she can to get away from Sheen. That guy is nuts!

Hollywood veteran Kevin Costner has become a dad for the seventh time after his wife gave birth to a daughter on Wednesday (June 2).
Both, the mther and the daughter are ding well as the reports say!

Kevin and Christine are already parents to two sons; Cayden, three, and Hayes, who turned one in February. Meanwhile, 55-year-old Costner also has three children from his marriage to Cindy Silva and a son from his subsequent relationship with Bridget Rooney.
