Freida had hardly shown any skin in her first movie Slumdog Millionaire which was a huge worldwide hit.
The lights on the sets were switched off and only key unit members were allowed for the shot as Freida had become uneasy during the intimate scene.
Speaking about the scene, Tarsem said: "Poor girl. It's the first time we have Freida Pinto and guess what, it's a sex scene. It's a delicate situation. We're trying to get all of the lights out, so we can create an intimate situation. Only 80 people watching you and 20 of them with video (cameras)."
